Our Mission

We didn't start Honor Your Story to sell journals.

We started it because too many stories are disappearing.

The veteran who came home and never talked about what he carried. The athlete who gave everything to a game and never got asked what it meant to her. The grandfather who could have played college ball, and regretted walking away from it every single day for the rest of his life.

A 2021 survey found that two thirds of people regret not asking a parent or grandparent more about their life before it was too late. Eighty three percent said the memories they did get to hear are ones they still cherish. We built Honor Your Story so fewer people have to carry that same regret.

These stories deserve to be written down, not lost. That is why every journal is built around real, guided questions, designed to help the people who gave everything to something they loved finally put their story into words, before it is too late to ask.

But honoring a story means more than preserving one. It means investing in the next one.

That is why every purchase gives back, directly, on purpose:

How Good Were You? journals support Every Kid Sports, a national nonprofit that covers youth sports registration fees for kids from income restricted families, so a kid who wants to play never has to sit out because of what it costs.

Who Did You Become? journals support Wounded Warrior Project, helping the veterans who served this country find their way home, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

And every piece of Honor Your Story apparel and gear supports both, because when you wear it, you are carrying both missions with you.

Every journal sold. Every hoodie worn. Every hat on a head at a game, a reunion, or just walking through your day. It is not just a product. It is a kid getting to play. It is a veteran getting support. It is a small piece of both missions, carried forward.

This is bigger than something to sell. This is a way to honor where you came from, and help someone else get the chance to build a story of their own.

Honor Your Story.
